Lack of literature, barring a few case reports of lingual recession defect coverage, 4,5–10 could be due to lack of esthetic concerns in this region, which probably limits efforts toward its correction. In addition, other technical factors, including difficult surgical access, reduced possibility of coronal or lateral tissue displacement, and less predictable protection of the area from trauma during the healing period compared with buccal recession defects make lingual recession coverage a challenging task.…”
