Abstract:The
polymer protective layer on the lithium anode has received
significant attention for flexibility, controllable synthesis, simple
film fabrication, and structural versatility. However, the insulating
properties of polymers and the unwanted dissolution of the polymer
layer in the electrolyte greatly influence long-term cycle stability
of lithium metal batteries. Here, we fabricated a polymer Guiselin
brush via physical aging to solve the critical challenges and induce
uniform Li deposition on the electrode. … Show more
“…In contrast, the HE-PBA@Cu/Li sample exhibits a stable voltage curve. 51 The amplified voltage curves in Fig. 6d, after a few cycles, highlight that the voltage hysteresis of HE-PBA@Cu/Li is ∼29.4 mV, maintaining long-term overpotential stability.…”
Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries are considered as promising next-generation energy storage system due to their high energy density (2600 Wh kg–1) and cost-effectiveness. However, the shuttling effect of lithium polysulfides in...

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
