Abstract: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients and smokers have a higher incidence of intestinal disorders. The aim of this study was to gain insight into the transcriptomic changes in the lungs and intestines, and the fecal microbial composition after cigarette smoke exposure.
