Abstract:Metal Complexes of lanthanum (III), Thorium (IV) and dioxouranium (VI) with Schiff base ligand ethyl 2-{[(2E, 3Z)-4hydroxypent-3-en-2-ylidene] amino}-4, 5, 6, 7-tetrahydro-1-benzothiophene-3-carboxylate were prepared. All synthesized complexes were identified and confirmed by elemental analysis, molar conductance measurements and spectral analysis (UV-visible, IR and 1 H NMR). The conductance measurement suggested the non-electrolyte nature of the complexes and they were isolated in 1:2 (M: L) ratio. The therm… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
