Abstract:The article is devoted to the review of scientific publications on gynecological and dermatological aspects of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in different age periods of women’s life. Analysis of domestic and foreign publications presents that the prevalence of PCOS depends on the age of women and the state of their reproductive function, and is accounted 17% in women 21 to 30 years old and significantly decreased with age.
