Equally, Helleiner (1995) demonstrates the subtly different ways in which Irish Travellers were racialised, compared with their English counterparts, through discourses of imperialism, cultural nationalism, and changing class formation in Ireland. These comparative studies illustrate the very different processes of racialisation and racism in different countries.…”
