Abstract:Bedded gypsum is relatively common in bedded evaporites associated with red bed siliciclastics of Permo‐Triassic Pangea. However, little attention has been paid to the textures of ancient gypsum, which can be used to refine interpretations of depositional environment and diagenetic history.
