Gyromagnetic ratio of the 159 keV 3/2+ state of117Sn

Abstract: The g-factor of the 159 keV 3/2 + state of 117Sn has been determined by the integral perturbed angular correlation (IPAC) method in an external magnetic field of 9.47 T. The result: g3/2+ = +0.439 (31) favours the interpretation as a rather pure d 3/2 single neutron quasiparticle state.
