${H_\infty}$ Robust Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on PCHD

Abstract: The surface permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) speed regulation system is easily affected by the inner parameter perturbation and the external load disturbance at run time. To solve this problem, the H ∞ robust control strategy is proposed in this paper. First, given the systematic uncertainties, the H ∞ robust current controller based on the Hamilton-Jacobi Inequality is designed to ensure the robustness of current control under the SPMSM nominal mathematical model. This model is expressed as the port… Show more

“…Due to their vast application prospects, these kinds of motors are broadly used for operation in low and medium power applications. Furthermore, they are used in high-performance electric drives such as electric vehicles, robotics, aeronautical spaceframes, and machine tools [2,3]. However, the motor model is nonlinear and sensitive to many uncertainties inside and outside the speed control system during operation, making it difficult for the conventional PI control topology to convene the excessive performance control requirements of the system.…”

“…By using a PMSM mathematical model, many prior scholars have designed various advanced controllers for the speed system of PMSM efficiently, examples of such algorithms include model predictive control [5], finite-time feedback control [6], adaptive control [7,8], and H-infinite control [9]. In this paper, we refer to control strategies of the above as the model-related control strategy.…”
