Abstract:Introduction.Haemostasis in brain surgery is mandatory to avoid postoperative re-bleeding and a poor outcome. Postoperative intra-cavity haemorrhage is a frequent complication, especially in surgery of malignant gliomas because of the fragility of pathological vessels.
