“…In community samples, higher HCCs have been linked with more maternal‐reported socio‐emotional problems in infants (Palmer et al., 2013) and greater teacher‐reported behavioral problems in elementary and middle school‐aged children (Fuchs et al, 2018), but there have also been null results (Kao, Doan, St. John, Meyer, & Tarullo, 2018). Conversely, lower HCCs have also been linked with more ADHD symptoms in one sample of kindergarten boys (Pauli‐Pott et al., 2017; Schloß et al, 2018).
