Abstract:Stimulation of hair growth in hair loss has been a difficult goal to achieve. Hair follicle-associated pluripotent (HAP) stem cells express nestin and have been shown to differentiate to multiple cell types including keratinocytes, neurons, beating cardiac muscles and numerous other cell types.
