The complex relationship between physical and psychological disorders can pose challenges for effective treatment. Both aspects often require a multidisciplinary approach to address their interconnectedness. An individual's personality is shaped by their mentality, psyche, and values, which must be in harmony for a well-ordered and disciplined personality. While medical interventions are important, incorporating non-medical interventions can be crucial for managing and treating these disorders. This includes lifestyle changes such as exercise and diet, as well as incorporating values that promote overall well-being. Neglecting our psyche can lead to negative traits and mental health issues. Therefore, nurturing our personality through positive experiences, healthy relationships, self-care and self-reflection is necessary to promote mental and emotional health. It is important to create a balance between material and non-material values to have a harmonious and stable life. Choosing a lifestyle that aligns with our values and needs allows us to create a compatible system, which in turn allows us to make informed decisions and realize our full potential.

The halal industry is not only focused on the halal food sector, but has also developed into other sectors, including the pharmaceutical industry. This is supported by an increasing in the market share of halal medicines and the high interest of the Muslim community in using halal medicines. However, this increase in public interest and demand is not comparable to the availability of halal pharmaceuticals in Indonesia. This article will analyze how halal standardization is applied to products in the pharmaceutical industry. This study was designed using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method for browsing previous research that published within the 2013-2023 timeframe. The results showed that a product can be considered halal if it can be proven to be free from the critical point of drug halalness and meets the requirements in the halal assurance system (HAS) 23000. Among the obstacles in its implementation are a lot of use of imported raw materials that are not guaranteed to be halal, the complexity of the halal certification process in the pharmaceutical industry and the human resource factor.

Permissible medicine “Halalopathy” represents a compatible relation between therapeutic drug and human beliefs/lifestyles. Production of permissible drugs is achieved by evaluating ingredients and monitoring the production process to be compatible with a certain specific standard depending on the requirement of the lifestyle or belief of the patient. If drugs and beliefs are compatible, a domino chain effect will be initiated; trust will be developed, and the placebo effect will be activated. Consequently, a compatible system between mind and drug is established, faith in the treatment is intensified, entropy is lowered, potential energy is increased, and self-assurance is enriched. The compatibility concept is based on finding a connection between human’s belief and therapeutic drug where certain genes will be turned off epigenetically. Halalopathic medicine represents a new therapeutic concept in which holistic values - material, human, moral and spiritual values - are used to deliver the right treatment to the right patient.
