Halide-Free Continuous Synthesis of Hydrophobic Ionic Liquids

Abstract: Herein, we present a novel approach for the halide-free, continuous-flow preparation of hydrophobic ionic liquids (ILs) relying on the bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (bistriflimide, NTf 2 – ) anion.
