Hall and Ion Slip Effects on Mixed Convection Flow of Eyring-Powell Nanofluid over a Stretching Surface

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to inspect the mixed convection flow of Eyring-Powell nanofluid over a linearly stretching sheet through a porous medium with Cattaneo–Christov heat and mass flux model in the presence of Hall and ion slip, permeability, and Joule heating effects. Proper similarity transforms yield coupled nonlinear differential systems, which are solved using the spectral relaxation method (SRM). The story audits show that the present research problem has not been studied until this point. Effi… Show more

“…Equations (9)–(12) expose to the limit conditions (13) are clarified via the SRM. The details of the method are found in References [7–9,38,39]. The problem‐solving procedure for the SRM uses the initiative of Gauss–Seidel procedure to separate the schemes of governing equations (9)–(12).…”

“…They found that in the presence of magnetic flux the momentum boundary layer thickness decreases quickly with relaxation time and velocity slip though, the temperature limit layer thickness improves essentially with the heat source, Brownian motion, and thermophoresis parameters. As of late, numerous articles concerning the investigation of nanofluids considering different actual circumstances have been available in References [5–18].…”

“…Heat and mass transfer in the Eyring-Powell liquid model undertakes an essential role in the procedures which comprise the creation and spread of haze, plotting of mixture handling instrumentation, environmental pollution, drying of porous slides, raised oil recuperation, warm protection, and underground energy transport [19][20][21]. Ishaq et al [22] explored the 2D nanofluid film stream of the Eyring-Powell liquid with changeable heat conduction in the existence of MHD over the unsteady permeable extending sheet and asserted that the porosity parameter lessens the movement of the fluid.…”

“…Mixed convection flow plays a significant role, for example, in air limit layer flows, atomic reactors, solar gatherers, and in electronic hardware, just to name a few. Wubshet and Temesgen [19] used Cattaneo-Christov heat and mass flux model to inspect the mixed convection flow of the Eyring-Powell nanofluid through a porous medium on a linearly extending sheet in the company of permeability and Joule heating effects. They noticed that with the advanced value of the Eyring-Powell fluid parameter, the fluid velocities, local Nusselt number, and skin friction coefficient promotes.…”

“…Alsabery et al [38] have checked mixed convection flow and entropy generation for a heat source and rotating solid cylinder inside a wavy-walled enclosure. Wubshet and Temesgen [39] have reported Eyring-Powell nanofluid with ion-slip and hall effects under stretching sheet. Hashmi et al [40] have computed mixed convection flow with homogeneous heterogeneous reactions of magnetized Maxwell fluid.…”
