Abstract:Obesity is considered a global epidemic disease worldwide. During the past two decades, bariatric surgery has become an increasingly popular form of treatment for morbid obesity. The most common laparoscopic bariatric procedures performed include Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy and one anastomosis gastric bypass.
