Hand, Foot and Nail Disease — a Common Manifestation of Chronic Dermatophytosis./Hand‐Fuß‐Nagel‐Befall — eine häufige Erscheinungsform der chronischen Dermatophytose

Abstract: A retrospective study of 83 patients with dermatophytosis verified by culture and a duration of disease exceeding one year was performed. Among these chronic patients males dominated (70 %) and Trichophyton rubrum was isolated in 87 % of cases. Tinea pedis is no longer the most common exponent of chronicity.
