Handport-assisted laparoscopic living-donor nephrectomy; initial experience in Taiwan

Abstract: The feasibility of handport-assisted laparoscopic livingdonor nephrectomy in Taiwan was assessed by comparison with conventional open nephrectomy. Six serial patients undergoing laparoscopic living-donor nephrectomy (LLDN) were compared with six patients undergoing open donor nephrectomy.
