Hard x-ray magnetic circular dichroism under high magnetic field

Abstract:We describe high-field X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) setup developed at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility beamline ID12, which is dedicated to polarization dependent X-ray absorption spectroscopy in the soft and hard X-ray range from 2 to 15 keV. The static magnetic field up to 17 T is generated by a superconducting solenoid.
