“…Display cover windows, [ 17–21 ] which consist of a flexible transparent window film and a flexible transparent protective coating layer, are a promising solution for the abovementioned problems in the fabrication of flexible displays. For the successful application of display cover windows, both the window film and protective coating layer should meet the following requirements: 1) good optical properties, comparable to those of cover glass substrates, 2) robust in‐plane and out‐of‐plane mechanical properties, 3) excellent mechanical durability and folding reliability over hundreds of thousands of folding cycles, [ 22–25 ] and 4) easy processability and facile mass production.…”

“…Functional coatings like transparent polyester films have found many applications in optoelectronics devices as base films and are usually hardened with UV resin that is coated on the surface to improve abrasion resistance. However, due to the mismatch of the refractive index (RI) between the base film and the hard coating (HC) film, the hardened polyester film is prone to the phenomenon of reflected light interference, that is, the rainbow effect. , The presence of rainbow patterns will affect the light transmittance and visual performance of the display products . To reduce the number of existing polyester rainbow patterns, several technologies have been developed.…”

“…Since the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, a majority of problem solving has been sought to deal first with data (i.e., digital information) being explosively generated on a daily basis. In fact, digital information is known to be newly generated in the increasing rate of 40% per year. In particular, electronic devices of various sizes have appeared in order to meet consumers’ demands as represented by smart and foldable phones and other portable devices. Therefore, a new generation of high-performance memory devices with a higher density, lower power consumption, and faster speed are urgently desired to store and process the huge amount of data being daily generated. However, the current silicon (Si)-based memory technology has some limitations.…”
