Hardware Realization of Conventional MPPT Techniques

Abstract: This paper presents a comparative study on the conventional MPPT techniques used in the solar photovoltaic system. These techniques have been implemented in a hardware environment and their performance has been studied for variations in environmental conditions. It can be observed from analysing of PV array that, the P-V & I-V characteristics are highly influenced by the environmental factors leading to low conversion efficiency.
