Hardware-software geo-information system for positioning objects

Abstract: The project is dedicated to the development of experimental samples of hardware-software complexes for seamless positioning of objects inside and outside the buildings to ensure the implementation of the principle “always and everywhere”. The work substantiates the need for developing a project dedicated to the creation of a hardware-software geo-information system for positioning objects. To achieve this goal, the analysis of shortcomings of existing technologies for object positioning is carried out. This an… Show more

“…The random component of the error (inaccuracy in determining the coordinates of the license plate in the image) can be reduced by averaging the results of multiple measurements. According to the theory, the error value will decrease by the root of the number of measurements [13]. Let's estimate the error value of the speed measurement taking into account averaging for the following parameters:…”

“…This radar can control only one lane and measures only one parameterthe vehicle speed, and as a rule, captures no more than one vehicle. Modern radar systems can also determine the position of the vehicle and are used to monitor multiple lanes with a correct correspondence between measured speed and a specific vehicle [1].…”

“…However, the use of flexible coaxial cable imposes a number of restrictions on testing due to the problems with cable twisting and fixed cable length. In this regard, a version of the miniscope with a wireless method of information transmitting was developed [3,4,6]. The wireless version of the miniscope, on the one hand, has an obvious advantage over the wired version, and on the othera significant disadvantage in the form of the mandatory presence of a heavy lithiumpolymer power source, which must be attached to the experimental animal (~1.5 gramsthe weight of the battery and ~2 -4.5 gramsthe weight of the miniscope).…”

“…Sewerage network operation is accompanied by the release of toxic and fetid gases (hydrogen sulfide, methane, ammonia) from manholes and ventilation pipelines. Danger of possible suffocation and poisoning [1 -4] confirms the need to assess atmospheric air influence zone of sewerage facilities while designing them [5]. In future, boundaries of the sanitary protection zones should be established for the most «gas-emission» sewerage facilities.…”
