“…To validate the proposed model and study the coexistence between LTE-U and Wi-Fi, we developed a system level simulator for Wi-Fi-LTE-U networks using MATLAB. We first validate our MATLAB simulator with the mathematical models of Wi-Fi-Wi-Fi [6] and Wi-Fi-LTE-U [8] nodes where all nodes can sense presence of all others.
