“…An example is the recent dispute between the United States of America and China, which resulted in the United States Department of Defence's restrictions on the use of Huawei technologies (Ernst, 2020;Kaplan and Haenlein, 2020;Kapustina et al, 2020) and which has suffered a series of deadlocks. Therefore, those in the race for AI development are likely to dominate the coming decades, especially in terms of economic and geopolitical strength, which will potentially exacerbate tensions between countries (Feijóo et al, 2020).
