Hashimoto's hypothyroidism associated with insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes

Abstract: INTRODUCTION Thyroid peroxidase activity inhibiting immunoglobulins (anti-TPO Ab) is a sign of autoimmune process in the thyroid gland. Association of hyperthyroidism and diabetes mellitus has been classically described.
