HDlive for Assessment of Placenta and Umbilical Cord

Abstract: We present the latest HDlive images of normal and abnormal placentas and umbilical cords. By means of HDlive, more detailed information on placental and umbilical cord abnormali ties can be obtained, because this technique is a new surface rendering mode that uses an adjustable light source to create lighting and shadowing effects, thereby increasing depth per ception.
