Abstract:Traumatic vertebral artery (VA) dissection is a severe consequence of a cervical injury, which usually involves the vertebrae and spinal cord. Traumatic VA dissection has been frequently underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed, mainly because many patients remain asymptomatic.
