Health-related quality of life of children with pre-dialysis chronic kidney disease

Abstract: The QOL of children with predialysis CKD is affected by various factors, including sex, glomerular filtration rate (GFR), socio-economic status, existence of co-morbidities, anemia, growth retardation, and behavioral disorders. To improve their QOL, it is important to objectively understand the respective effects of these factors and attempt early intervention.
