“…Αρχικά, η έκθεση σε θόρυβο εμφανίζεται με μικρού βαθμού ή μέτρια βαρηκοΐα η οποία ακοογραφικά διαπιστώνεται με αύξηση του ουδού, συνήθως, στα 4000Hz, με εξάπλωση στις γειτονικές συχνότητες (3 KHz και 6 KHz) και κάποια βελτίωση του ουδού στις 8000Hz (εντομή) (Dobie, 1982;Rabinowitz et al, 2006). Στη συνέχεια και σε συνδυασμό με την πάροδο της ηλικίας και την εμφάνιση της πρεσβυακουσίας οι εντομές εξαλείφονται και αρκετές φορές είναι δύσκολο να διαπιστωθεί ακοογραφικά αν η βαρηκοΐα συνδυάζεται και με προηγουμένη έκθεση σε θόρυβο (Prell et al, 2012).…”
