Heat Conductivity of the Cooperative Vibronic System TmVO4

Abstract: TmVO, thermal conductivity is measured between 80mK and 5 0 K for H = 0 and 70kOe.It is found that a large phonon scattering is present at H = 0 compared to the H = 70 kOe measurement. Using a Mori-Zwanzig formalism, a theoretical analysis may explain the general behaviour in the temperature region below the phase transition temperature.
