Heat Dissipation Design of High Power LED Headlamp

Abstract: High brightness white light emitting diodes(LEDs) are very promising in many new illumination applications. This paper is to investigate the cooling solutions of a LED heallamp. Air cooling with heat sink were proved to be unsuitable. A cooling method based on heat pipe is adopted which is proved to be effective.
