Heat of hydration in ultralight cementitious foams incorporating metakaolin and microencapsulated phase change material

Abstract: The paper presents the results of a study on the hydration heat of ultralight cementitious foams envisaged as insulation materials for building envelopes. The examined porous foam-cement material was additionally enhanced by embedded microencapsulated phase change material (PCM) to improve the desired thermal properties of the material.
