Heat shock protein concentrations in chronic generalized periodontitis of elderly patients

Abstract: The present article summarizes data on the content of antibodies targeting heat shock proteins and the concentration of IL 1α, IL 8, IL 4, IgG, IgM, IgA, and sIgA in blood and saliva of elderly patients suffering from chronic generalized periodontitis before and after treatment of periodontal inflammation and clinical symptoms of ischemic heart disease.
