Heat transfer within linear Fresnel unit using parabolic reflector

Abstract: Purpose This paper scrutinizes exergy loss and hydrothermal analysis of Linear Fresnel Reflector (LFR) unit by means of FLUENT. Several mirrors were used to guide the solar radiation inside the receiver, which has parabolic shape. Radiation model was used to simulate radiation mode. Design/methodology/approach Heat losses from receiver should be minimized to reach the optimized design. Outputs were summarized as contours of incident radiation, isotherm and streamline. Outputs were classified in terms of cont… Show more

“…(2) Complete the installation and construction of the motor and controller and the test stand: all mechanical parts should be installed and fixed tightly, firmly and without looseness, to ensure that the prototype and instruments are placed smoothly and neatly, and the two sets of motors need to ensure sufficient concentricity; the connection of high-voltage cables and low-voltage harnesses should be tight and without looseness, and the connection should be well insulated, and the wiring should be checked for correct connection after completion; the connection of water pipes should be tight and without looseness, and the wiring should be checked for correct connection after completion. The connection of water pipes should be tight and free from looseness, and the wiring should be checked for correct line connection after completion, and the water should be run for a test run to check for leaks [17][18].…”

“…(4) Compound solar cells Compound solar cells are solar cells made of multiple elements doped with semiconductors. At present, compound solar cells have not been able to achieve large-scale industrialization, mainly because: the efficiency improvement is not significant, the material contains highly toxic, high material costs, the production process is cumbersome [13]. Therefore, compound solar cells are still in the stage of research and development testing.…”
