Abstract:This systematic review evaluates the effects of heat treatments in de novo, residual and recurrent giant cell tumors of bone (GCTB). Studies were eligible for inclusion if one of the following treatments was administered: radiofrequency ablation (RFA), microwave ablation, argon cauterization, electrocauterization and hot liquid treatment.
