Heating the Water of a Swimming Pool with Solar Energy

Abstract

The most common method of using solar energy is heating, and the heat from solar energy is used with water and air solar collectors. Hot water systems are among the most economical and common solar energy systems. There are systems for solar water heating. Solar hot water heating systems are generally used in hotels, summer cooperatives, where there are residential houses, greenhouses, and swimming pools. The hot water demand is partially met. The collector heat load required to heat a swimming pool in Antalya with solar energy was calculated. Accordingly, the pool area was calculated for the dimensions of the pool. Then, the heat load was determined for November, one of the autumn months in Antalya province.
