Heavy concrete with mineral additive tripoli

Abstract: The research results of the effect of active mineral additive tripoli of the deposits of Grishina Sloboda of the Bryansk region on the strength of heavy concrete are presented in the article. The chemical composition and structure of the sedimentary rock tripoli are studied. It is found that the tripoli grinding to the specific surface area of 340 m2/kg leads to the production of concrete class B35 with its content of 5% and class B30 with its content of 10%. The extreme dependence of the concrete strength on … Show more

“…However, it is necessary to consider the possible dependence of the parameters (dispersity, content) on the shape and size of the particles of clinker cement using mineral additives. The authors of [ 17 , 18 , 19 ] discussed the increase in the activity of mineral additives by increasing the specific surface area developed thermodynamic and mathematical models for optimizing the composition of composite mixtures. The main problem of concrete modified with mineral additives is to optimize their dispersed composition, taking into account the spatial and geometric parameters (dispersion of particles, geometry, volume, energy state, the average size of interparticle voids, their fractality, isometrics, etc.)…”

“…Depending on the different types of radiation and energy spectra, different materials are used [ 2 ], and the research into heavy concrete shielded against radiation leads to many approaches. Some studies show chromium-ore-based concretes containing various types of minerals [ 3 ] or other additives [ 4 , 5 , 6 ], as well as considering their ecological and sustainability aspects, such as in terms of recycling [ 7 ]. Others examine magnetite and serpentinite concretes [ 8 , 9 , 10 ], and their advantages and disadvantages.…”
