“…Regarding cattle there is a very significant difference in manganese concentrations in cattle livers versus cattle kidneys, and a very high significant difference in cattle livers versus cattle muscles, as well a very high significant difference in cattle kidney versus cattle muscles. The present data was lower than the findings obtained by Ammerman et al, (1974); Abou-Arab (2001) and Iwegbue (2008). Many authors noticed that reduced or increased manganese in organs is related to deficient or increases intake via the diet (Lassiter and Morton, 1968;Howes andDyer, 1971 andWatson et al, 1973).In conclusion the results of manganese in livers, kidneys and muscles of slaughtered buffaloes and cattle in Assiut city confirmed by statistical analysis, showed significant differences among the samples collected.…”

“…Previously, the levels of Cd, Pb, Cu, Cr, Ni, Fe and Zn have been determined in Nigerian sesame (Obiajunwa et al, 2005) and some Nigerian spices from Warri (Iwegbue et al, 2011).In this study, we investigate various common spices for possible metal (Pb, Cu, Cd, Zn, Cr, Co, Ni, Mo, Fe and Mn)contamination.…”
