Helioseismic diagnostics of solar dynamics in the near-surface layers

Abstract: This thesis proposes to develop new helioseismic diagnostics of solar near-surface flows. In a first part, we discuss the interaction of solar seismic waves (sound waves) with small-scale turbulent convection.
