Abstract:Hemifacial spasm due to fusiform aneurysm of the vertebral artery is extremely rare. The lateral spread response (LSR) is routinely used to monitor hemifacial spasms during microvascular decompression to predict the degree of postoperative remission of hemifacial spasm.
