Hemodialysis catheter related blood stream infections

Abstract: Background: Hemodialysis catheter related blood stream infection (CRBSI) is common cause for sepsis in hemodialysis patients with high morbidity and mortality. It has to be diagnosed promptly for early treatment to avoid serious complications including catheter removal.
