“…Either fentanyl or sufentanil may cause brady arrhythmias when administered with vecuronium (Gravlee et al 1988). In one study, 18% of all patients who received high dose fentanyl combined with vecuronium developed bradyarrhythrnias requiring pharmacological intervention (Paulissian et al 1991). These patients were receiving long term ~-blocker and calcium antagonist therapy.…”
