It could lead to liver fibrosis, cirrhosis and a particular aggressive form of hepatic carcinoma [4]. Since it is possible for other viruses to be present alongside HIV in a patient who is HIV positive, it is important to investigate such a patient for the presence of other viruses especially the hepatic viruses.…”
