Herbal Extract as an Ecofriendly Antibacterial Finishing of Cotton Fabric

Abstract: A N ECOFRIENDLY antimicrobial finishing agent has been prepared from herbal extracts " Chamomile, sage and green tea " which have been applied to cotton fabric in presence and absence of free formaldehyde crosslinking agent (Glyoxal) using pad, dry cure method. Antimicrobial properties of treated fabrics have been improved which make it more important and inevitable finish for garments.
