Abstract:Gingival fibromatosis (GF) is characterized by a slow and progressive proliferation that can affect the marginal and attached gingiva, or the inter-dental papillae. This condition can be localized or generalized, with varying degrees of severity.GF may develop in susceptible individuals as a side effect of systemic medications or as idiopathic gingival fibromatosis.
