Abstract: Introduction: Hereditary spherocytosis is a genetically determined familial hemolytic anemia. Clinically it is ranged from an asymptomatic condition to severe hemolytic anemia. The major complications are aplastic or megaloblastic crisis, hemolytic crisis, cholecystitis and cholelithiasis.
