“…According to the literature (Hillyard et al, 1998;Di Russo et al, 2003, 2005, 2013, there are three early, sensory components which can be distinguished in the visual evoked potential that are present within two separable ROIs: the P1, and the posterior and anterior N1 (i.e., N1p and N1a). For each of these early, sensory components, ROIs were identified on the basis of known results from the scientific literature (e.g., Smit et al, 2007) and also based on the measured scalp topographies.
