Abstract:The present study was carried out to determine the best heterotic combinations in terms of grain yield and its attributes in rice. For this, 5 lines are crossed with 2 testers in the Line x Tester mating design and their F1s are evaluated along with their parents and checks in randomized block design with three replications at Agriculture Research Station Kampasagar, Nalgonda during Kharif 2022.The degree of heterosis varied between traits.
