Abstract:Rare earth luminescent materials based on negative thermal expansion (NTE) have achieved thermally enhanced photoluminescence, but these materials typically exhibit relatively weak luminescence intensity at room temperature. In this work, adopting the cationic heterovalent substitution strategy, a series of Sc2‐2xZrxNbxW3‐1.5xO12‐3x:Yb/Er (SZNWOx:Yb/Er) phosphors are prepared by solid‐state reaction. With the increase of x value, the substitution of Sc3+ by Zr4+/Nb5+ leads to a decrease in the local symmetry o… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
