Hidden blood loss in minimally invasive surgery for osteoporotic vertebral fractures.

Abstract: Purpose Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) of the spine prevents the collapse of osteoporotic vertebral fractures (OVF) with lower complication and bleeding rates than open surgery.
